This exciting 14 days, two countries luxury safari gives the best of Kenya and Tanzania experiences. Flying over the regions’ dramatic landscapes, conservation experience, Mt. Kenya, Kilimanjaro and the famous Ngorongoro crater. Cultural experience and the epic wildlife experience in two prime reserves-Masai Mara National reserve and Serengeti National Park.
ITINERARY
DAY 1.
This is the arrival day in Nairobi. You will be met by your Meet & assist representative at Jomo Kenyatta International airport and take you through the arrival process to the waiting driver who will take you to Nairobi hotel. One night in Nairobi as you prepare to start the adventure the following.
DAYS 2, 3 & 4 LOISABA CONSERVANCY.
After breakfast is served on day two, you will check out of the hotel and your driver will transfer you to Wilson airport where you will board the commercial flight to Loisaba, in Laikipia region. Three nights you will spend at luxury Loisaba Tented camp, perched on the edge of an escarpment, Loisaba Tented Camp is designed to capitalize on unhindered views across Laikipia's mottled landscape all the way to Mt Kenya. Activities include game drives in Loisaba conservancy, horse-riding, camel-trekking, guided bush walks, fishing, mountain biking, cultural visits to Samburu villages and visits to the anti-poaching sniffer dogs.
DAYS 5, 6, & 7 MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast is served on the 5th day, you check pout of the camp and be transferred to airstrip for your flight to Masai Mara reserve. Situated on a secluded and picturesque site, Sand River Masai Mara replicates the heyday of exclusive permanent tented camps of the late 1920’s. Sand River Masai Mara is an ideal destination, at any time of the year, for those wishing to enjoy exceptional game-viewing. The National Reserve is best known for its large concentrations of big cats, such as leopard, cheetah and, of course, lion. Even the dramatic arrival of the Annual Migration merely adds to an already abundant resident wildlife that awaits discovery.
DAY 8. ARUSHA-TANZANIA
After breakfast is served at Sand River Camp, you will check out and be transferred to the airstrip, where you will board your flight to Arusha Tanzania via Wilson airport for passport clearance. Upon landing at Arusha airport, you will be transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge-Lying on the gently rolling foothills that cascade down from the ever-present Mount Meru is the bustling and vibrant town of Arusha. It is here on the outskirts of this town, hidden amongst one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations, that you will find Arusha Coffee Lodge, a perfect haven for relaxation either before or after any East African safari. You will be here for One night.
DAY 9 & 10 NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast is served on 9th, you will be transferred to Arusha airport for your flight to Lake Manya airport. On landing, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to The Manor at Ngorongoro-Crossing the Rift Valley and climbing the steppe onto the green and rolling hills south of the Ngorongoro Crater, there lies a truly undeniable surprise and one that will be a home-away-from-home. The Manor at Ngorongoro, located in the north west Tanzania, family cottage, and magnificent main Manor House, is one of the first safari lodges of its kind to blend East African hospitality with old-world Afro-European architecture and decor. Located adjacent to the famous Ngorongoro conservation area and within a 1500-acre Arabica coffee estate, The Manor is reminiscent of an elegant up-country farm home in the Cape Dutch-style of architecture.
DAYS 11, 12 & 13 SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast is served on day 11, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Serengeti, with enroute game drive from Seronera airstrip in Serengeti, you will be transferred to Pioneer Camp-Located in South Central Serengeti - Tanzania - (within the Moru Kopjes area), Serengeti Pioneer Camp is ideally situated to offer superlative access to the annual migration and the ‘Big 5’ with sweeping views overlooking Moru Kopjes, Lake Magadi and the endless plains. Serengeti Pioneer Camp’s ‘zero footprint’ and close proximity to nature combines to make an unmistakably distinctive and truly individual offering.
DAY 14. LAST DAY
After breakfast, you will check out of the camp and be transferred to the airstrip for you flight to Kilimanjaro international airport, where you will connect to your international flight. This will mark the end of you exciting, experiential yet memorable safari.
